How does emotional baggage affect you?
Emotional baggage, the trauma and unprocessed emotions we all carry, affecting every aspect of our lives. Under emotional baggage, we often make choices that cater to that baggage first. Overwhelming emotions became trapped as a protective measure in order to deal with the situation at hand. The overwhelming emotions are meant to be observed and felt later when it is safe for processing and releasing, with only the memories and the lessons remaining. Rarely does this happen, rarely do we have the know how or skills to go back, remember, and process. Body aches, dis-ease and blockages in various areas of our life become the result as our subconscious tries to first protect us, then notify us this still need to be fully processed and released.
The word trigger is used often today. We all generally understand what we mean by it and, we all have them. Maybe the trigger is on the road in the form of road rage, maybe it’s with your spouse or children, maybe it’s struggling to find or be a romantic partner, maybe it’s the news again, or maybe it’s work. What triggers you? I’m sure we can all remember a trigger moment and the intense feelings, the cascade of events and being faced with a decision or interaction. How did that go while triggered? Next enters some level of regret or remorse in not having handled it some other way. And the story continues on… Guess what is at the base of a trigger? Trapped emotions.
Now imagine the powerful triggering emotional energy is no longer there to flip your switch? The trapped emotions associated with that trigger have all been processed and released, even if this occurred in early childhood. Relief, space, a lightness, an ability to more easily make a choice you would be proud of. Can you also now thank your subconscious for protecting you before, being grateful for the lessons learned and the ability to release with ease?
In addition to releasing triggers, you may also experience reduction in pains and symptoms and even, the discomfort fade away. These pains and symptoms often serve as our body’s notification system that there are trapped emotion(s) lodged in the body waiting to be processed and released. They need to be felt, have their moment of reverence and be released, not be ignored no matter how loud this notification from your subconscious and body becomes. Emotion Code Therapy is here to assist in the most gentle way.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
